The challenge

Nowadays there is too much food waste. We are drainig earth and all the resources it has to offer. The least we could do is to use these "gifts" in the most effective way and by doing so, limit the wastes. Currently, cantines usually prepare a quantity of food that needs to satisfy a certain number of people, but in doing so, they produce way more than the amounts that are served, because they have to offer customers the full list of options on the menu.

The solution

MyMeal is a project that tries to solve this question by creating a communication channel between customers and the cantines. This communication channel should be used before the cantine starts to cook, in order to have the exact proportions that are required. This app offers many possibilities to help the customer decide what they want to eat, while helping create a more sustainable planet!
