Healthcare
The challenge
Healthcare expenses in the Netherlands will be cut down in the upcoming years, while the capacity of patient flow is also under pressure. For instance, 10% of global population copes with diabetes. In the current system people with mild symptoms only go to the GP, while their health slowly deteriorates. Once their symptoms get more severe, they end up in the hospital. However, providing suitable healthcare can be set up in a more efficient way, to tackle patient flow optimally.
The solution
A watch that measures blood levels and uses blockchain communication can provide a solution in making patient flow more efficient. This watch can communicate the patients' data to their doctors, which they can use to facilitate their patients with information on steps to take. This way, patients do not have to be in the hospital physically to receive personal healthcare.
